Description

When you arrive at the Herriza de La Lobilla olive farm, we'll welcome you to begin this visit specialising in olive oil. We'll immerse ourselves in a unique natural environment and learn all the secrets about the production of the so-called liquid gold. A fascinating world!

First, we'll explore the famous Herriza, an olive grove located next to the oil mill that gives its name to the farm. There we'll learn about the process and the means used to harvest the olives, as well as the importance of preserving the natural environment. Little by little, we'll walk through the wild olive trees, some of which are thousands of years old.

Next, we'll visit the olive mill, where we'll tell you about the history of the farm and the process of production of the Herriza de La Lobilla extra virgin olive oil. We'll discover everything from the traditional techniques to the most modern ones, and the steps that are carried out from the extraction of the oil to the final bottling.

At long last, the most awaited moment will arrive, the time to taste the olive oil! As a finishing touch to the visit, we'll do a guided tasting of premium extra virgin olive oils, recognised and awarded both nationally and internationally. In this tasting, we'll learn to appreciate the aromas, flavours and nuances of this highly prized product.
