Translate this opinion into English.

The excursion was very good, entertaining, and everyone on the boat was very friendly. The only downside was the guide who picked us up at the hotel; she was super rude and very unpleasant. She should speak more politely to the people she picks up, and if they ask a question, she should respond correctly. The guide's name is Alejandra. Opinion translated. Show original.

The whale watching was disappointing. It was sold to us as the main objective, but it was a minor detail, as we barely saw them, from very far away, and it was brief. There were too many people for the size of the boat; there was hardly any room to sit unless you paid €25 for the sunbeds. The crew was very friendly, attentive, and pleasant. However, several explanations weren't given in Spanish, even though we had booked the excursion in that language.

Translate this opinion into English.

It was a very pleasant excursion, which went exactly as expected, just as I had seen on the Civitatis website and in the reviews. Sun loungers sell out quickly. If you intend to rent them, be sure to do so as soon as you board the catamaran. Of the crew, I must give a special mention to Salomón, the only woman on board. The young Italian, frankly, wasn't very pleasant. He wasn't nearly as good as the two I've already mentioned. Opinion translated. Show original.

A wonderful excursion. We were picked up by a bus not far from our hotel, heading towards the port. The guides spoke fluent French, Spanish, and other languages. Los Gigantes is as majestic as ever, and we were lucky enough to see whales, but unfortunately, no dolphins. Finally, if you are prone to seasickness, this trip is not recommended. Translate this opinion into English.

A unique experience with a fantastic crew. Cristo, Nico, Juan, and Mireya were all wonderful, making the trip even more enjoyable. It's definitely an excursion worth repeating. A 4.5-hour excursion is recommended; anything shorter will feel too short. Opinion translated. Show original.

I would have liked to have more detailed information about the activity. For example, the possibility of swimming at Los Gigantes beach (I would have brought a swimsuit) or that what we would see would be Masca beach (not the summit of Masca).

We did manage to see the dolphins and whales, so that was great. But apart from that and the stop for swimming at Los Gigantes cliffs, the whole trip felt very, very long and boring. Keep in mind that we were in the north, so the route involved hotel pick-up, a 1 hour and 20 minute bus ride to the port of Colón, a catamaran trip to Los Gigantes cliffs (over an hour), a bus back north, and then drop-off at hotels. The trip runs from 11:00 AM to 8:30 PM. They warn you about this beforehand.

The bus was full, which is understandable, but then the boat was too small for so many people, so you can't really enjoy the activity. And then there was the issue of boarding when the boat was already half full, so we barely had any room. The food was a plastic plate with some white rice and four meatballs. The best thing was that there were drinks available, although they were warm and in plastic bottles. The boat crew was very friendly. In any case, I don't recommend the activity at all.
