Cartagena House of Fortune Ticket

Would you like to travel back in time to domestic life in 1st century Roman Cartagena? With our House of Fortune Ticket, you can! You'll roam the different rooms of a house from this historical period and learn lots of interesting facts.

Some of the rooms you'll see are the dining room where feasts and banquets were held, the bedrooms and private part of the house and the reception hall where the pater familias (the head of the family) welcomed his guests.

You'll observe artefacts such as lanterns, crockery and personal ornaments, which will help you to better understand Roman fashions and customs. As you stroll through the rooms of the house, you'll marvel at the beauty of the wall paintings and mosaics with swans, swastikas, flowers and pomegranates, which held mythological symbolism during this period.

Would you like an even fuller experience? When booking, you can book the ticket with an audioguide. This way, you'll hear plenty of information as you walk around the House of Fortune.
